Denver - Day 1

As u should remember, I was in Denver for ASMS during the first week of June. My love came to spend the last three days with me and if you know Gyasi, you will know thats when all the fun started. We had a Gyasi time (Gyasi means wonderful:)).

Day 1 - we did the tourist thing in Denver. It was my birthday weekend so I got to chose all the places. I chose places we'd both love: 1. Denver Botanical Gardens and 2. Denver Art Museum (we got there 10 mins before closing so we only took outside pics - they changed the times listed on this particular day b/c of a special event).

Of course we had some good food. Gyasi is a breakfast person and he likes non-chain breakfast joints so concierge at our hotel told us about Krameria Cafe, which was voted #1 breakfast in Denver. It was soooo good (but not better than Shari's in Seattle - we still havent found anything to beat that breakfast. So good we did it twice in one trip). Lunch was a sandwich and dinner was hmmmmmm - Copper Canyon at our hotel - Hmm Hmm good. If you are Denver, check out the Renaissance Hotel, Denver. Lovely room, service, and food.

Here are some of our favourite pics form day 1:

Check out that mini photo shoot!

Is Gyasi always on the phone?

That's pretty cool that his name means "wonderful"

Im gonna post the ones from Boulder - those are way nicer pics. He's hates talking on the phone, but everytime his phone vibrates (from a new email), he's on it checking. B/c his outlook is linked thru his gmail to his phone, he's always current with his work emails (even on a get-a-way). LOL. Cant say I like that very much. LOL. And if it isnt his cellphone its one of his contractors or architects paging. LOL.
No Stress though, it's usually lasts for about 30 seconds.
